RALLY CAPS - (Ages 7 & under)
Eligibility
- Born 2020-2022: Play in Rally Caps
- Born 2019 (new players): Play in Rally Caps
- Born 2019 (experienced): Can play Rally Caps or 9U (if played 1+ year of Rally Caps)
Program Details
This program is our introduction to baseball for our youngest players. Kids learn fundamental baseball skills in a fun and non-competitive environment.
- Introductory program using safety equipment
- Parent/adult companion required on field
- Season: Early May to late June
- Sessions: Choose between Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur in Charleswood, in St.James on Tue/Thurs
- Registration: $90

- Baseball glove
- Batting helmet
- Water bottle labelled with the player’s name
9U - (Ages 9 & under)
Eligibility
- Born 2019 (experienced): Can play 9U if at least 1+ year of Rally Caps
- Born 2018: Play in 9U
- Born 2017 (new players): Play in 9U
- Born 2017 (experienced): Can play 9U or option to age-advance to 11U-A if player has advanced skill and social maturity
- Age-advancement to 11U-AA requires permission from WWMBA to tryout and player must rank in top 5 players for their team to be considered (See Age Advancement Policy)

Program Details
- Teams of 6-8 players
- Focus on fundamentals
- Uses spring-loaded pitching machine or coach pitching
- Season: Late April to late June
- Games: 2 per week (Mon/Wed/Sun), 6:30-8:00 PM
- 30-45 minute pre-game practice
- Registration: $180
Required Equipment
- Baseball glove
- Batting helmet with chin strap
- Athletic supporter
- Water bottle
- Baseball pants (recommended)
- Team bats provided; personal bats allowed
- Max barrel diameter: 2¾ inches
- Length: middle of chest to fingertips
